Track Name: A Matter of Perspective Part 1
Verse 1

Finding our bliss
As we’re trying to trust
Learning the just
When we’re all prejudiced

Verse 2

One day or the other
We all end up chasing a shadow
Falling into error
Not to feel, not to feel this unrepentant hole

Verse 3

Black or white
Gray can’t be right
Our despise over lies
Took hold onto our lives

Verse 4

We’re so up close
To an infinite part of a whole

Chorus

Truth can confound
And lies will let us down
We must find our way
Through the vagueness of the gray
Life’s a matter of perspective

Verse 5

Wars over some fictitious beliefs
And insidious mistakes
Tunnel vision, our weaknesses
As we’re folding on ourselves
Find them! Give you! Help me!
Show us perspective
Find them! Help us! Give me!
An incentive to carry on!

Verse 6

Our world is beyond repair
How can we fix the unfair?

And carry on!

Verse 7

Should our chase
Ever come to an end
It can’t be all wrong
Cause nothing can be found
On our burial ground

Chorus

Truth can confound
And lies will let us down
We must find our way
Through the vagueness of the gray
Life’s a matter of perspective
Track Name: Face to the Ground
Verse 1

I've fought these so many times
Stumbling on thoughts that seed their doubts
They fly in and they fly out
Leaving my body completely dry

Verse 2

Death's on request
I feel walled in and sore
Does my mind try to fool itself?
The pressure of being sure

Chorus

Face to the ground
Any torment must have an end
When no one's here to understand
Time to look around
This is out of control
My world's fading like an untold tale
I'm face to ground, the panic must end

Verse 3

Numbness and fear are kindred
I'm so tired of playing dead
Just one small breach
It's all I need
To rise from the quicksand

Chorus

Face to the ground
Any torment must have an end
When no one's here to understand
Time to look around
This is out of control
My world's fading like an untold tale
I'm face to ground, the panic must end

Verse 4

One by one you leave my side
As soon I feel I’m about to die
Too late you can’t make amends
I buried my head back in the sand

Chorus

Face to the ground
Any torment must have an end
When no one's here to understand
Time to look around
This is out of control
My world's fading like an untold tale
I'm face to ground, the panic must end (X2)

Verse 5

I stop to catch my breath and look behind
There's nothing left for me to lay on
These thoughts stepped on every part (X2)
(Of my mind)
I'm marching with no strength in my life
This is my last chance to put up a fight
I must take back what's my own
When I'm face to the ground
Track Name: Fit of Anger
Verse 1

Incinerate
Is all he can think of (is all he can think of)
I understand the hate
But fire is only true love

Verse 2

Rise and shine
Once again
You can see the despair
Through the smoke curtain
And all the screams unattended

Verse 3

My urge is burning inside (I seek guidance)
From desir to ashes (I suffer the same way)
How many have to die (I feel no shame)
From the collateral damage (No more innocence)

Verse 4

His gloom is so pure
Why does he need a cure?

Verse 5

Rise and shine
Once again
You can see the despair
Through the smoke curtain
And all the screams unattended

Chorus

Embrace the heat
Step into the seat of madness
Where reason can’t deny
This constant fit of anger

Can I cautherize the bleed?
And your fury'd be timeless
Where feelings come and die
From this fit of anger
Track Name: In the Mind of Homunculus
Verse 1

Uncanny sensation
Unfolding in my reality
Dreamlike advection
Watching over me

Verse 2

Under a dome
Waiting for my thoughts to come home
Drifting the days
And the nights are the same

Bridge

Awareness
Anomaly
Consciousness
Breaking away

Pre-chorus

Hear me, take them home
My senses surrender
But don't let my thoughts vaguely roam
The haze of a conjured lie

Chorus

In the eyes of Homunculus
I willingly follow my purpose
Everything fits and is in place
But he doesn't care to explain the chase

Verse 3

Identity
Part with my body
Hovering
My now senseless humanity

Bridge

Disturbed
By the absurd
A third person look
Of my thoughts dancing away

Pre-Chorus

Hear me, take them home
My senses surrendered
But he let my thoughts vaguely roam
The haze of a conjured lie
(Is this home? echo home...)

Chorus

In the mind of Homunculus
I willingly follow my purpose
Everything fits and is in place
But he doesn't care to explain the chase

Bridge

Awareness
Anomaly
Normality
Nothing of such therein

Chorus

In the mind of Homunculus
I willingly follow my purpose
Everything fits and is in place
But he doesn't care to explain the chase

When Homunculus thinks for himself
The reason why is hard to tell
But I feel deprived, I can hear me cry
Contrived
Depersonalized
Track Name: Blank Stares
Verse 1

Looking at your empty bed
You finally feel something new
Good riddance? Acceptance?
You found the strength to break the loop
Sister... you built a world for deceiving
But you couldn't hide the marks of a victim

Verse 2

You closed the door on me
While he sucked the life out your of eyes Victimised, like you were waiting to die
I tore down the walls to see inside

Verse 3

He preyed on your confidence
Making you a fool, making you a tool
He took everything
How could you sit on the fence?

Verse 4

You suffered in silence all alone
And concealed the damage for so long
I couldn’t turn a blind eye to your blank stares
I heard your silent blares

Pre-Chorus

How much did you have to suffer
Before you could see it through
Your vision was blurred
By this fear controlling you

Chorus

I've come to feel your pain
A burden you couldn't leave behind
Why have you kept it all inside?
I've come to feel your rage
Your eyes said what you couldn't hide
Sister... Your bonds have been untied

Verse 5

Every day was the same
He drank and brought you shame
There was one solution
To end the delusion

Verse 6

All the sacrifice for this change
And to get rid of your chains
I made him pay and disappear
So you can control your fear

Chorus

I've come to feel your pain
A burden you couldn't leave behind
Why did you keep it all inside?
I've come to feel your rage
Your eyes said what you couldn't hide
Sister... Your bonds have been untied
Track Name: A Matter of Perspective Part 2
Verse 1

Am I the only one?
To see it all that way
It has already been gone
But you’re still kneeling to pray

Verse 2

For those who seek the truth
Enlightenment
Its substance is transient
Nothing’s absolute

Verse 3

In the absence of facts
You reach to someone,
You reach to something
A perception of your acts
Hiding in a red herring

Verse 4

A false dichotomy
The appeal is too strong
But the line is so thin
You can’t ignore what’s in between
Can’t you peel off this second skin?

Chorus

Where do you find this peace inside?
Can I let it all go, just for a while?
I must find my way
Through the vagueness of the gray
Is this really a matter of perspective?

Verse 5

Reason’s taking its toll
Giving up the burden of proof
It’s a part of me I can’t control
Always finding an outlook

Am I the only one?
To see it all that way

Verse 6

I’ve salved myself from this, but why am I still sad?
I’ve come to my limits, I need to leave before I go mad

Chorus

Where do you find this peace inside?
Can I let it all go, just for a while?
I must find my way
Through the vagueness of the gray
Is this really a matter of perspective?

Verse 7

I’ve reached this day
A sense of peace to embrace
Seeing all the shades of gray

I looked to other way
Come what may
And join the alternate part of me
